Speedways Travels

We are based out of Gangotri Enclave in Alaknanda, which is a nice residential pocket in South Delhi. B 20-A is where we handle all the travel stuff. It’s mostly just us sitting around computers and talking to people about their vacation plans or bus tickets. It’s a quiet enough area, which is good when you’re trying to concentrate on complicated flight schedules. We started this because we liked travel, but now it’s more about the logistics of getting people from point A to point B without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it is. We aren't a big flashy agency with posters everywhere. It's more of a local office where neighbors might drop in to ask about a train price or a weekend trip to the hills. We keep track of a lot of different routes and drivers. The office is a bit crowded with files and old diaries, but we know where everything is. Alaknanda is a good spot because it's easy for people to find us near the main market area. We spend most of our day on the phone with hotels or transport guys. It’s not always easy, especially when there are delays or cancellations, but we try to sort it out. We just take it one day at a time here and try to keep things simple for everyone who walks through the door.
