We've been in Vikaspuri for a good while now. It's a busy part of New Delhi, and honestly, the noise from the street is something you just get used to after a week. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and some maps on the wall to help people figure out where they want to go next. We spend most of the morning answering the phone and dealing with ticket bookings. Sometimes the internet goes out, which is a real pain when you're trying to finalize a trip for someone. People come in from around the neighborhood mostly. They want to see family or maybe take a break somewhere cooler during the summer months. It gets really hot in this part of Delhi, so we keep a fan going all day. My desk is near the window, and I watch the rickshaws go by while I'm waiting for emails to load. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It is just a small team of us here trying to keep things organized. Usually, we eat lunch together at the back table. If you come by, you might see some old brochures piled up in the corner because we haven't had time to clear them out. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the dates right for everyone. It's a lot of typing and double-checking names on passports. That’s pretty much how it goes every day here in Vikaspuri.
