If you’re looking for us, we’re over at 116, Manocha Apartments in Vikas Puri. It’s right in F Block, which is a fairly busy part of New Delhi 110018. We’ve been operating Southall Travels. from this apartment for quite some time now. It’s not your typical travel agency with huge posters in the window or a storefront on the main road. Instead, we’re tucked away in the apartment block, which makes it feel a bit more personal, I guess. You walk through the gate, past the security, and head up to find us. The office is usually full of the sound of people talking on the phones and the hum of the computers. It can get a bit cluttered with all the documents and travel brochures we have lying around, but we know where everything is. Vikas Puri is a nice place to be based. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a bite to eat, and the neighborhood has a good energy to it. We aren't trying to be some big, slick corporation. We’re just a group of people working out of a regular apartment, helping folks get where they need to go. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs, but that’s just part of being in an older apartment complex. It’s a grounded, everyday kind of place to work. We just take it one day at a time and do our best.
