Southall Travels

Our office is at 258 in Sector 56 of Gurgaon. We called it Southall Travels because of some family connections, but we are purely a local Gurgaon operation. The office is on a regular street, nothing too fancy. We have a couple of desks, some old maps on the walls, and a few chairs for people to sit. We focus on helping people book their flights and train tickets. Sector 56 is a nice area, but it gets very dusty with all the construction going on nearby. We spend a lot of our morning just dusting off the monitors and keyboards. It is mostly me and a colleague working here. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We rely on people living in the nearby apartments coming to us. They know we will spend the time to find a good route for them. Sometimes the internet connection drops and we have to call the provider, which is always a headache. We have a small electric kettle for making coffee and tea. The office feels a bit lived-in, with stacks of old brochures and some personal photos on the desks. We are not a giant travel corporation. We are just a small team trying to make travel a bit easier for our neighbors. We stay open late on Saturdays because that’s when most people have time to come by and plan their trips. It's a simple, steady business.
