South India

Our place is called South India and we are located at 5A Prashad Nagar in the DDA L.I.G Flats area. It is a residential part of New Delhi, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. We have been here for a while now, serving the people who live in the flats nearby. The space is small and can get a bit tight when there are more than a few people inside. We do not have any fancy decorations or big menus. We just stick to what we know. Most of the time, the kitchen is busy and there is a lot of steam and noise. It is a simple setup with a few tables and chairs. We do not really do much advertising because people just know where we are. Being in New Delhi 5, we are right in the middle of a lot of activity. Our days start early to get everything ready before the morning rush. The staff is like family and we have been working together for years. We do not worry about being the biggest place in town. We just want to make sure the food is decent and people leave satisfied. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long through our windows. It is just a normal, hardworking spot where we do our best to keep things going. If you live in the DDA flats, you probably walk past us every single day on your way home.
