South Delhi Polytechnic For Women

Our place is at number 65, right on the front side of the upper ground floor in Sant Nagar. It’s in the East of Kailash area, which is always bustling with activity. We’ve been running this polytechnic for women for quite some time now. Inside, you’ll mostly see classrooms and workshops where students are learning different skills. It’s not a shiny new building, but it has everything we need to teach. There’s usually a bit of a buzz in the hallways when classes are switching over. We have areas for things like design, computers, and other vocational stuff. The walls have some student work pinned up, and the furniture is the sturdy kind that’s built to last. We don’t do a lot of fancy advertising; most people find us because they live nearby in Sant Nagar or have heard about us from someone else. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but once the students are busy with their work, it’s a focused environment. We handle the admissions and the daily schedules from the front office. It’s a practical place where women come to gain some knowledge that helps them out later. We don't have a big corporate structure, just teachers and staff who have been around for years. We just try to keep the equipment working and the lessons on track every day. Sometimes we even have to fix the machines ourselves when they break down in the middle of a class.
