Sotc

We are based over in Dilshad Garden, specifically at A-16/F-2. It is a residential-feeling area but we keep this office running pretty much all week. Most people know the name SOTC, but here on the ground, it is just a few of us handling the daily grind of travel bookings. The office is not anything special to look at, just desks, computers, and a lot of brochures that we try to keep organized. We spend a lot of time on the phone with airlines or trying to explain itinerary details to families who want to go on vacation. It gets really busy before the summer holidays or around the festival times. You can usually find one of us trying to fix the internet connection or hunting for a stapler that someone borrowed and forgot to put back. We drink a lot of chai to stay sharp during the long shifts. Sometimes a customer comes in and stays for an hour just chatting about their last trip and showing us photos. It is nice to hear those stories, even if it puts us behind on our emails. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a functional space where we try to make sure people's trips go smoothly without any big hiccups. The fans hum in the background, and we just keep plugging away at the computer keys until the sun goes down and it is time to lock up.
