Sonu Telecom is a small place in Sarojini Park, Geeta Colony. We are in Block No 10, shop number 126. It’s a nice enough area, a bit quieter than the main markets but still has its busy moments. We mostly spend our time fixing phone screens or helping people with their connections. It’s a lot of small, fiddly work with tiny screws that always seem to disappear on the floor. We’ve got a counter that’s covered in chargers and cables. Most days it’s just locals dropping in to get a recharge or to ask why their phone isn’t working right. We don’t have a big fancy staff, just us sitting behind the glass. We listen to the radio or talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the kids from the block come by just to look at the latest covers we’ve put out. We’ve been here for a good few years now. The shop isn't very large, so if more than three people come in, it gets a bit crowded. We just take it one person at a time. It’s a decent way to spend the day, staying in the loop with the neighborhood news. We don't promise anything crazy, we just try to get the phones back in working order. It’s a practical little shop for the local folks. Sometimes the internet goes down and we just wait for it to come back, drinking some chai and watching the people walk past the window. It's nothing special, but it's our daily life.
