Sonata Travels

Sonata Travels is tucked away here in Janakpuri. If you know New Delhi, you know this neighborhood has its own feel. We spend our days dealing with tickets and itineraries and all those little details that come with going places. It’s mostly sitting at desks and talking on the phone, trying to figure things out for people who want to get away for a bit. Travel can be messy, with all the changes and rules, so we just try to keep a handle on it. Our office isn't anything too flashy. It’s a place where we drink a lot of tea and look at maps or screens. Some days are quieter than others. In Janakpuri, you get a mix of families and students, so the requests we get are always different. One day it’s a quick trip nearby, the next it’s something much further. We don’t really go for the big sales pitches. That’s not our style. We just like helping people get from one place to another without too much of a headache. The local streets are always busy, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. We’ve been at this for a while. It’s honest work. We know the routes and we know how the systems work, mostly. It’s just us here, doing what we do. We like being in this part of town.
