Living here at Sonali in New Delhi is an experience. If you’re looking for us, we’re up on the 4th floor, specifically Room No.427 at the A.I.W.C Hostel on Bhagwandas Road. It’s a busy part of the city, but once you get up to the room, it gets a bit quieter. Being in a hostel means there’s always something going on in the hallways. We’ve been set up here for a bit now. The stairs can be a lot if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Out the window, you can see the Delhi traffic moving along. It’s just a small space where we get our things done. Most days involve a lot of coming and going. The hostel has its own rules and rhythm, and we just fit into that. Bhagwandas Road is a good spot because it’s central, even if it gets loud during the day. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some papers, and the usual hostel furniture. People know us by the room number mostly. It's funny how you get used to living out of a hostel room while trying to run things. It’s practical for now. Sometimes we grab tea downstairs and talk to the neighbors. It’s just how things are for us right now in this corner of Delhi. No big mystery to it, just a room on the fourth floor. We just keep busy and stay in our lane.
