If you're looking for a trip or just some help with travel, you can find us at 169 Sant Nagar. We’re right in the East of Kailash area of New Delhi. It's a busy neighborhood with plenty of shops and people moving around all day long. We’ve been running Sofia House Of Tourism for a bit now. We aren't one of those massive travel agencies with hundreds of employees and fancy websites. It’s just us in a small office, trying to help people book their train tickets or find a decent hotel that won't break the bank. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to read the paper and have a second cup of tea. We know the local routes well and can usually find a way to get you where you need to go without too much hassle. The office is a bit cluttered with brochures and old maps, but we know where everything is. We don't use a lot of fancy software; we just talk to people and figure out what they actually want from their holiday. It feels more personal that way. A lot of our neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask about the best time to visit the mountains. We try to be helpful whenever we can. It’s a decent way to spend the day, hearing about where people want to go and what they want to see. We just take it one booking at a time and try to keep things easy for everyone.
