You can find us at Old Lajpat Rai Market, Stall No 7, 823 A. Being in this market means dealing with a lot of noise and people pushing past all day long. Sodhi Enterprises is not a big showroom; it is just a stall, but we manage to keep a lot of stock in a very small area. Everything is packed in quite tight. If you move one box, you have to be careful the whole pile does not come down. It is a very old market, so the buildings have a lot of character, which is a nice way of saying they are a bit broken down. We have a small stool to sit on, but most of the day we are on our feet. The light is not great inside the stall, but we have a couple of bright bulbs that do the trick. It gets very dusty here because of all the traffic and the old structures nearby. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. People just know where Stall No 7 is and they come looking for us. We have been here for years, and we know the other stall owners well. We watch each other's stuff when someone has to go grab a bite to eat. It is a tight community in a very crowded space. It is not always comfortable, especially when it rains and the lanes get muddy, but it is where we do business.
