We operate Snow Leopard Adventures Pvt. Ltd. from a small home-based office in Govindpuri, Kalkaji. The address is 620/6, and it’s actually care of Mr. S.L. Sharma. It is a regular house in a busy residential block, so it doesn't look like a big adventure company from the outside. If you come by, you’ll probably see a lot of trekking gear, some old ropes, and maybe some sleeping bags airing out in the back. We use this space to plan our routes and check all the equipment before we head out into the mountains. It gets pretty cramped when we are getting ready for a big group because there are boxes and bags everywhere. We don't have a fancy reception area or a secretary. Usually, one of us just answers the door or the phone while trying to sort through some maps or gear lists. The street outside is narrow and parking is basically impossible, so we usually tell people to just give us a call instead of driving over. It is a very grassroots way of running things, but it works for us because we spend more time in the field than we do sitting at these desks. We just need a place to keep the paperwork straight and make sure the tents don't have holes in them before the next season starts up. It's a bit messy, but it's where all the actual planning happens for our trips.
