Slice Of Italy

Slice Of Italy is located at House No.221 in Pocket D-16, Sector-7 of Rohini. It is a residential area, so it feels very different from the commercial hubs in the city. The house is easy to find if you know the sector well, but the pocket numbers can sometimes trip people up. We have the kitchen and the main area set up on the lower floor. You can usually smell the bread baking from the street if the wind is blowing the right way. We have a small desk near the entrance where we take down the orders and handle the paperwork. The walls are a simple white and we have a few photos of the staff pinned up near the back. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is working at the same time, but we make it work. The delivery bikes are parked outside the gate and there is always someone coming or going. In the evenings, the street gets quiet and you can hear the birds in the trees nearby. We do not have a big dining hall or anything like that here. It is a functional space meant for getting the food ready and out the door. We like being in Rohini because the people are friendly and it feels like a real community. It is just a house turned into a workplace, simple and efficient.
