Slice Of Italy

Slice Of Italy is located over at D4/3 Sarai Khalil. We are pretty close to Singhara Chowk on Idgah Road in Delhi. The pin code is 110006. Being near Singhara Chowk means there is always a crowd nearby. It is an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and full of history and dust. We do our work from this spot and try to keep up with the orders. It gets hot in the kitchen area, especially during the summer months when the Delhi sun is beating down on Idgah Road. We have been here for a while, and the locals know the name Slice Of Italy well enough. The building is tucked away, so you have to look for the Sarai Khalil markers to find us. We aren't a big fancy restaurant with white tablecloths. It is more about getting the food out and making sure the bikes can get through the traffic to deliver. The floors are worn down from people walking in and out all day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it is in this part of Delhi. We keep the counters clean and the ovens going as much as we can. It is a busy life, but it is what we know. Sarai Khalil is our home base and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get the cooking done.
