Sixt, Sona Mobility Services

We are based out of C-22 in Rashmipuram, which is part of the N.T.P.C. area in Village Mujedi. It’s out in Ballabgarh, Faridabad, so it’s a bit away from the main Delhi city center. We have a lot of space here for the vehicles and the maintenance work we do every day. The road, Tagore Road, can be a bit bumpy depending on the season and the rain. It’s an industrial sort of neighborhood with a lot of workshops and factories around us. We aren't a flashy showroom with bright lights and salesmen in suits. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and making sure the cars are where they need to be for the clients. Sona Mobility has been operating from this yard for quite some time now. We have a small office area where we keep the keys and the logs for all the trips. It gets quite dusty out here with all the heavy trucks passing by on their way to the main road. The staff here mostly lives nearby so we all know the shortcuts to avoid the morning traffic jams. We don't use any fancy computer systems, just a lot of handwritten lists and phone calls. It’s a hands-on job and we are often outside more than we are at our desks. If you're looking for us, you have to follow the signs for the N.T.P.C. colony. It’s a straightforward operation and we just try to keep things moving along.
