Sindhu Wire Industry

If you go to Manohar Park in Punjabi Bagh, you will find Sindhu Wire Industry at Wz-14. We have been here for quite some time now, making and handling different types of wires. The space is filled with these big heavy spools and machines that never seem to stop. It’s an industrial kind of place, so it isn't exactly pretty to look at. There is a lot of grease and the smell of metal everywhere. We spend most of our day making sure the machines are running right and the wire is coming out the way it should. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend hours fixing it ourselves. That’s just how it goes when you run a small industry. We don’t have a fancy office or anyone to answer phones in a professional way. Usually, it’s just one of us wiping our hands on a rag before picking up the call. The neighborhood around Manohar Park is a mix of homes and small workshops like ours. We get along with everyone. It gets very hot in the summer with all the machines running, but we have some big fans that help a little. We don’t really do advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just stay focused on the wires and keeping things moving.
