Simran Machine Tools

Our workshop is at C-96 in Section 1 of the D.S.I.D.C. area in Bawana. If you've ever been to the Bawana Industrial Area, you know it's a huge place with lots of small factories. Simran Machine Tools is one of them. We’ve got our machines set up in a fairly small space. It gets loud when we are running the lathes and other tools. There is always the smell of oil and cut metal around the shop. We don't have a fancy office upstairs. We just have a small desk near the front where we keep the papers. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor. We make different kinds of tools and parts. It's greasy work, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood is always busy with trucks and workers. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. Usually, people just come by because they heard we have a specific machine or can make a certain part. We keep things pretty informal. We just wear our work clothes and get through the list of orders. It is a practical life. We try to keep the machines in good shape so they don't break down in the middle of a job. That's about all there is to tell about us and our corner of Bawana.
