Siemon India

We are tucked away in E-11/3 over in DLF Phase-1. Gurgaon can be a noisy place with all the construction and the traffic that never seems to stop, but our office stays pretty focused on the task at hand. We work with cabling and infrastructure stuff for Siemon. It isn't the most glamorous work in the world, but someone has to make sure the wires go to the right places and the systems don't fail. We have crates and boxes stacked up in the corner sometimes because shipments come in at weird hours. The guys here really know their way around a server room and a toolkit. We spend our mornings looking at floor plans and technical drawings that are spread across the tables. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking numbers. The 122002 area code is home for us now. We drink a lot of strong coffee to stay sharp. Sometimes the internet goes down, which is funny considering the tech work we do, but we just fix it and move on. We don't go in for big speeches or meetings. We just like to get the job done so we can go home to our families. The office has been here for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as new towers go up. We just keep doing our thing, making sure the connections are solid. It’s practical work for practical people. If you walk past our door, you’ll hear the hum of fans and keyboards.
