Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd. operates from the second floor at 487/65 in Peera Garhi. We are located right opposite the PNB National Market, which makes it a very busy area to be in. Our work is mostly focused on the financial side of the transport business. This means we see a lot of truck owners and drivers coming through. The office isn't quiet. There’s usually a lot of talk about interest rates, loan terms, and vehicle conditions. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don’t have fancy carpets or expensive art on the walls. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of files. The walk up to the second floor is a bit of a workout, but it keeps us moving. We spend our days crunching numbers and checking IDs. Sometimes the market outside is so loud we have to shut the windows just to hear each other. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and know the local rhythm. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just help people get the funds they need to keep their vehicles on the road. It’s a lot of work, and some days are longer than others, but that’s just the nature of the business in a place like New Delhi. We have a small corner for water and some old snacks, but mostly it's just about the paperwork. We keep the fans on high during the summer and keep at it until the sun goes down.
