Shreyas Packaging

Our shop is at Khasra No. 14/24/25, right on the Main G.T. Karnal Road in Village Nangli Poona. Being on the main road means we see a lot of trucks passing by all day long. Shreyas Packaging is usually full of rolls of paper, plastic, and cardboard. There isn’t much empty space on the floor because we’re always moving stock in or out. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. The machines that do the cutting and folding make a steady thumping sound that you get used to after ten minutes. We don’t have a big fancy entrance. You just walk in past the loading area and you’ll find one of us. We help local businesses with their boxes and wrappers. It’s not glamorous, but every product needs a container. We spend a lot of time counting things and making sure the bundles are tied tight. Sometimes the humidity messes with the paper, so we have to be careful about how we store things. The staff is mostly local people who know the rhythm of the place. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall. We just try to get the counts right and the edges straight. It’s a busy, cramped, and hardworking place. When the sun goes down, we load the last truck, sweep up the scraps, and head home to the village nearby.
