Our office is over in Pocket A-3 in Mayur Vihar Phase-III. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the layout of these blocks, but we’ve been at 160-G for a long time now. Shivam Travels is basically just a few of us working together to handle travel bookings and tickets for whoever needs them. We don't have a big corporate lobby or fancy leather chairs. It's mostly just regular desks, a couple of old fans that rattle a bit, and our computers. People from the neighborhood usually just walk in when they need to get a train ticket or a flight booked for their holidays. We've seen the area change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and closing, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the neighbors or the kids playing outside, but that’s just life in this part of Delhi. We handle the paperwork and try to make sure everything is filled out right so nobody gets stuck at the airport or the station. It's a lot of typing and checking dates over and over. We don't spend money on advertising because most people around here just know where we are. We drink a lot of chai during the day and talk to whoever drops by for a chat. It's a decent way to earn a living and we get to hear interesting stories.
