You can find us over at E-38 on Street Number 6 in Shaheen Bagh. Delhi is a big place, but this little corner of the city has its own rhythm. We've been here for a while, and the hotel is basically a part of the street now. It’s a modest setup. We don't have those big neon signs or fancy doormen. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting at the desk waiting for the next person to walk in. The rooms are simple because that’s what people usually need when they come to this part of town. Shaheen Bagh is a busy area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out getting food or doing their shopping. We get a lot of people who are visiting family nearby or just need a cheap place to crash for a couple of days. The building itself is older, so it has some quirks, like the way the stairs creak a bit or how you have to jiggle the key sometimes. We don't mind it, and most guests don't either. We spend our mornings cleaning up and making sure there's fresh water available. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We know most of the shopkeepers on our street, so there’s always someone to chat with if things get slow. It’s just a normal business run by normal people who live in the neighborhood and know how the city works.
