Shilpi Cable Technologies Ltd is based at A19/B on the Badarpur Mathura Road. It’s a big, busy road with a lot of heavy vehicles passing by all the time. Our building is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. We work with cables and wiring. Inside, there are spools of wire everywhere you look. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We have been here for a good while. The work is mostly technical and repetitive. We don’t have a reception desk or a lobby. Usually, people just come straight to the loading area. The noise from the Mathura Road is constant. We just get on with the day. Sometimes the heat makes the warehouse feel very heavy. We have a small group of people handling the machines and the shipping. We don’t write big mission statements. We just try to make sure the wires are cut and packed right. It’s a practical business. We deal with suppliers and distributors mostly. Occasionally, someone stops in with a question, and we help them out. The floor is concrete and has some scuffs from the heavy spools. It’s a real working environment. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We are just a local company doing our thing in Badarpur. It takes time to get things moving but we manage the daily load without much trouble.
