Shiba Travels Iata is over in Old Brij Puri, right on Street Number 5 near Parwana Road. This part of Delhi is always moving, and there’s never a dull moment. We are an IATA agency, which means we handle a lot of the official travel stuff, but we aren't some big corporate chain. Our office is small and packed with files and registers. You’ll find us there most days, dealing with passports, visas, and flight bookings. The air outside is usually full of dust and the sound of horns from Parwana Road, but we’re used to it. I started this travel business because I like the idea of people going to new places. It’s a lot of responsibility though, because if a ticket is wrong, it’s a big problem for the customer. We try to be careful, but we are only human and sometimes we make mistakes with a name or a date. We just fix it and move on. The neighbors around here know us well, and sometimes they just drop in for a chat or a cup of tea. We don't have fancy furniture or a coffee machine; we just get our tea from the stall at the corner. It’s a simple life, working in the heart of East Delhi, and we are happy to be part of the community here. Most days are long, but we keep the doors open for anyone who needs to fly somewhere.
