Shiba Travels is over in Kailash Nagar, specifically in Gali No 02 at House No 9/1964. It’s a tight street, so don't try to bring a big car down here. We handle a lot of things related to IATA and travel, mostly out of this small office. My family has been in this part of Delhi for a long time. The Mata Sundri Road area is where we do some of our other work, but the Kailash Nagar spot is where I spend my mornings. It’s a lived-in space. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the walls have maps pinned up with old tape. I spend a lot of time on the computer checking for ticket prices. Sometimes the internet is slow, and I have to wait for the pages to load. We have a small stool for guests to sit on while we talk. It’s loud outside with the local vendors calling out, but inside we just focus on the work. I drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in the door and I’m right there. We help people with their passports and visas mostly. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The neighbor’s cat sometimes wanders in through the front door when it's looking for a snack. We just let it be while we work.
