Sheraton

This is the Sheraton over in Dammam. We are located right at the Towers. The post office box is 5397 if anyone still sends regular mail these days. It is quite a big building and people come and go at all hours of the night. Working here means seeing a lot of travelers from everywhere. Some are here for work and others are just passing through the city. The lobby is usually the busiest place. We have a lot of rooms to keep track of. It gets very hot outside in Dammam so everyone stays inside where it is cool. The staff here has been around for a long time. We know the building inside and out. It isn’t always perfect, sometimes a lightbulb goes out or the elevators take a minute, but we fix things as they happen. We don't use much fancy talk. We just hand out keys and help with bags. The kitchen stays busy too. There are a lot of floors in the towers. You can see the city from the higher windows. It’s a lot of work keeping a place this size running. We try to keep the carpets clean and the water running cold. Most of our day is spent checking people in and out. It’s a steady pace. Sometimes we get big groups all at once. We just handle it one person at a time. That is how things go here at the hotel. We’ve been part of the city skyline for years.
