Working at the Sheraton New Delhi Hotel over in Pushap Vihar, right at 28/9, Sec-1, is a pretty non-stop experience for all of us. People see the big sign and the lobby, but our day-to-day is mostly spent in the hallways, the kitchens, and the back offices. It’s a massive building to look after, and something is always needing attention, whether it’s a leaky faucet in a room or a shipment of linens that hasn't arrived on time. We’ve got a lot of different people working here, from the guys handling the luggage to the staff in the laundry room who never seem to get a break. Pushap Vihar is a busy part of New Delhi, so there’s always noise and traffic right outside, but inside we just try to keep things moving along. We don’t really talk about grand goals or anything like that; we just focus on making sure the guests have what they need and the floors stay clean. It’s a lot of physical work and being on your feet for hours. Sometimes we get tired, and the shifts can be long, especially during the wedding season when everything gets a bit chaotic. But we’ve got a good rhythm going. It’s a real job with real challenges, and we just show up and do our part to keep the Sheraton running. It's just a regular hotel life for the staff here, day in and day out.
