Sharma Telecom

Sharma Telecom is on the Madanpur Khadar Main Market Road 5A1. Being on the main road means there is always noise and people shouting. We have been here for a good while. The shop is filled with all sorts of things like chargers, earphones, and batteries. We have a small workbench in the back where we do the soldering and the more difficult repairs. It gets quite messy with all the tiny screws and wires lying around. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background. The tea man comes by twice a day and we always take a break then. We don't have any big signs or bright lights inside. It is just a simple place where we do our work. The shelves are made of wood and they are getting a bit old now. Sometimes we sit outside on a plastic chair when it is quiet. Most of the customers are people we see every week. They know us and we know them. We spend a lot of time on the phone ourselves, talking to distributors or checking on orders. It is a busy life on this road, but we are used to it by now. The floor is swept every morning, but the dust always finds its way back in by noon. We just keep going until the sun goes down and then we pull the gate. It is just how things go.
