Sharma Builder & Co.

We’ve been around Baljeet Nagar for a while now. Sharma Builder & Co. is basically just us doing construction work in the West Patel Nagar area. It started small, and we still operate out of the same spot at T-248-A. Building houses involves a lot of dust and noise, but that’s the job. People around here know where to find us if they need a wall fixed or a new room added. We don't have a big fancy office, just the place in Baljeet Nagar where we keep our tools and meet with people. It gets busy during the day. We try to keep things simple. If there's a problem with a site, we go down there and fix it. Dealing with materials and labor in Delhi can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we manage. My family has been doing this kind of work, so it felt right to keep it going under this name. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the usual building stuff that people need in this neighborhood. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or checking on how the cement is drying. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot in New Delhi and Haryana, but it’s what we do. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. If you’re walking near West Patel Nagar, you’ve probably passed by our place. We just focus on getting the work done one day at a time.
