Sharma Auto Spare Parts

We’ve been here at shop number 2 in Azadpur for quite some time now. It is right on G T Karnal Road, not far from the Gurudwara Lal Bagh. Most people stop by when they need a specific part for their car or truck. We keep a lot of things in stock, but sometimes the shelves get a bit messy because we are busy finding stuff for customers. It is a small space, really. My uncle started this place years ago and now I help run things. We see a lot of regulars who work in transport or live around this part of town. The road outside is always loud with heavy traffic and honking. We usually open up early and stay until the sun goes down. Most days are just spent looking through catalogs or checking the back room for some old part someone is looking for. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just rows of shelves full of metal and rubber. If someone needs a bolt or a specific filter, they usually know where we are. Sometimes we sit outside on small stools when the shop is quiet. The tea guy comes by twice a day and we take a break. It is a simple way of living. We don't do much advertising because people just know the shop is there near the Gurudwara. It gets very dusty with all the trucks passing by on the main road, but that is just how it is. We keep the ledger on the desk and try our best to keep track of everything.
