Shanti Home

Shanti Home is located at House Number 4/62 in Subash Nagar. It’s an interesting spot because the address says New Delhi but it’s right near the Haryana border area with the 110027 code. We’ve been running this place as a sort of local base for a long time. It’s a residential building that we use for our work. The rooms are plain and we try to keep them as clean as possible. There’s a small porch out front where we sometimes sit in the evenings. Subash Nagar is a crowded area with lots of houses built close together, so we know our neighbors’ business and they know ours. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people in suits. It’s mostly just family or a few staff members doing the cleaning and the maintenance. Sometimes the water pump makes a loud noise or we have to fix a leak in the roof, but that’s just part of owning a building. We like the quiet times in the afternoon when the street calms down a bit. Most people who come here are looking for a simple place to stay or visit without any fuss. We don’t offer anything grand, just a roof over your head and a decent place to sit. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours, and we keep it going every single day. We don't have a big sign with lights, just the number on the gate.
