Shangrila Hotel New Delhi

Our place, Shangrila Hotel, is located over in Vijay Vihar, Rohini. It’s at E-6/A if you’re looking for the exact spot on the map. It isn't one of those massive skyscrapers you see downtown, but we keep the rooms clean and the beds are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Running a hotel in New Delhi means there's always something to fix or someone checking in at odd hours. We have a small staff who mostly live nearby. We focus on making sure the water is hot and the lights work. Simple things like that matter more than gold wallpaper. Rohini is a pretty residential area, so it stays relatively quiet at night compared to the main city center. We get a mix of people staying here, some for work and some just passing through. My brother handles the front desk most afternoons. He knows all the local spots to eat if you’re hungry and don't want to go far. We’ve had this building for a few years now. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when everyone is using it at once, but we try to keep it going. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right for the guests. We don't spend money on big ads. Most people find us by word of mouth or just seeing the sign while driving by. We like it that way and plan to stay here.
