Shangri-La Hotel

Shangri-La Hotel here is located at Shop No.1 on the second floor in Satya Niketan, right near Moti Bagh. It’s a bit of an interesting setup because most people expect a huge building when they hear the name, but we are right here above the local shops. Satya Niketan is always full of energy because of all the college students living nearby. You can always find someone looking for a snack or a place to hang out downstairs. Being on the second floor means we get a decent view of the street, though it’s mostly just watching the crowd go by. The stairs up to our place are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. It’s a small team here, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. It gets pretty loud in the afternoons when the colleges let out, but we’ve gotten used to the noise by now. Moti Bagh is just a short walk away, which is handy for getting around this part of Delhi. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. It’s just a simple door with a number on it. We spend our day handling the routine stuff and talking to whoever drops by. It’s a very local feel, nothing like those big corporate places you see on TV. We just work here and try to keep things running as smoothly as possible without any unnecessary drama.
