Working here at Nehru Place in New Delhi 110019 is always a bit chaotic because it's such a central spot. Shanaz Husain Group has this office where we handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff. You’ll find piles of catalogs and boxes of creams or oils waiting to be sent out. It’s a mix of people typing away and others packing things for orders. We’ve been here in this part of India for quite a while. The desks are usually covered in papers and coffee mugs. It’s not one of those silent offices; there’s always someone talking or a door opening. We deal with all sorts of beauty products that people seem to really like. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. The weather in Delhi gets really hot, but we keep things moving. It’s just a group of people making sure the business stays on track. We don't really do the fancy marketing talk here in the back office. We just focus on getting the right bottles to the right places. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the inventory matches what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we stay a bit late to finish a shipment. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to get through their to-do lists. It’s just regular work.
