Shamrock Journeys is based on the ground floor over in Zakir Nagar. It is a crowded neighborhood but we like it here. There is always something going on outside and the smell of food from the nearby stalls is very strong. We spend most of our time at our desks looking at travel schedules and hotel bookings. Planning journeys involves a lot of small details and it can get tiring after a few hours. We are not a huge company with a glass building. It is just a regular office with the essentials. We have a small team of people who have lived in Delhi for a long time. We handle different kinds of requests from people who want to go on a short trip or a long holiday. Zakir Nagar is a tight spot so we have to be organized with our space. There are usually piles of papers or some old brochures lying around. We do not focus much on how the office looks because we are busy with the computers and the phones. Sometimes it is very quiet and other times everyone is talking at once. We just keep doing our thing every day. It is a simple way of working. Most people who come in are from the neighborhood or found our number somewhere. We try to make the travel process a bit easier for them without making things complicated.
