Our office is at WZ548B in Naraina, New Delhi. This area is mostly known for industrial and commercial stuff, so it’s always buzzing with trucks and people moving goods. We are up in the building dealing with all sorts of telecom work. Most of the time, our desks are covered in wires, old handsets, and different pieces of hardware. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer systems. The noise from the street sometimes drifts up through the windows, but we are used to it by now. We have been here for a good bit of time. The building itself is a bit worn out, but the air conditioning works well enough to keep us comfortable. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just making sure the communication lines and the equipment we handle are working like they should. Sometimes things break and we have to spend hours figuring out why. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and testing. We usually grab lunch from the local stalls nearby. It’s a straightforward environment without any of the corporate fluff you might find in the big glass buildings. We just show up, do our technical work, and go home. The stairs are a bit steep, but it keeps us moving. It’s just a normal day at the office for us here in Naraina.
