Sethy Restaurant

You can find Sethy Restaurant at J-80 in Saurabh Vihar, which is part of the Badarpur area in Delhi. We spend most of our hours either in the kitchen or standing behind the small counter. It gets incredibly hot in the back when all the stoves are running, especially during the middle of the day. We don't have any fancy decorations or expensive furniture here. It is just basic tables and chairs for people to sit and eat. The whole place usually smells like whatever we have cooking on the stove at that moment. Many of the people who come in live just down the street. Some of them have been eating with us since we first started. We usually know what they want to order before they even open their mouths. It is a small space, so it gets quite noisy when the lunch rush starts. The floors are hard to keep perfectly clean because of all the foot traffic, but we do our best with the mop every night. we buy all our ingredients from the local market early in the morning. It is a lot of hard work to get everything prepped and ready before the first customer arrives. We aren't trying to be a fancy five-star place. We just want to give people a decent meal so they can get back to their day. It is a simple, busy life here.
