Services International

Living and working in Village Bandh is a lot different than being in a big city. Our office is near the post office in Bhangwar, and things move at a slower pace here in Kangra. We’re Services International, but the name sounds a lot bigger than we actually are on the ground. Most days, it’s just a few of us in a room with a view of the hills. The air is fresh, but the internet can be a real pain sometimes when the weather turns bad. Being in Himachal Pradesh means we have to deal with things like landslides or just very slow mail delivery. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a simple building where we handle our business. People from the village stop by just to say hello or to ask for help with something. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer, but we always have time for a cup of tea. It’s a quiet life. We don't have meetings about growth or strategy in the way city people do. We just make sure the work is done and that the people we help are satisfied. The mountains make everything feel a bit more relaxed, even when we have a lot of paperwork to finish. It’s a honest, small-town way of running things, and we like it that way.
