Serco

Serco is based at Ru 12 in Pitam Pura. This is in New Delhi, right near where the city meets Haryana. The pin code is 110034. It is a large office building and we have been here for a good while. Inside Ru 12, there are many rows of desks and a lot of people working on computers. It is the kind of place that stays busy twenty-four hours a day. We have different shifts of people coming and going all the time. It isn't a fancy or decorated office. We have white walls and standard office chairs and a lot of wires running everywhere. We handle data and talk to customers on the phone. It gets pretty loud during the day because there are so many voices going at once. We don't spend time on polished speeches or corporate slogans. We just focus on the metrics and the tasks we are assigned. Some of us take the metro to Pitam Pura and others come by bus or scooter. The lunchroom is where we all gather to eat and talk about things other than work. It is a very normal, hardworking environment. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We are just a large group of people doing a steady job in a busy part of the city. We keep the operations running and make sure the work gets finished on time every single day.
