Select Infrastructure P Ltd(Select Citywalk)

Our office is tucked away at 106A in Khirki Village, which is right by the Malviya Nagar area in New Delhi. It is quite a contrast because the Select Citywalk mall is such a big, modern place and we handle the infrastructure and behind-the-scenes stuff from here. Being in the village area means the roads can be narrow and it gets very crowded with traffic, but that is just how it is. We spend a lot of time looking at plans and managing the upkeep of the property. There are a few of us in the office and we mostly talk about maintenance, repairs, and how things are running over at the site. It is not all polished like the shopping areas the public sees. We have desks covered in papers and maps of the building systems. We have been in Malviya Nagar for a good bit now. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break, then it is back to the spreadsheets and phone calls. Working on a big project like this keeps us busy because something is always needing attention or fixing. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy outside our door. People who need to find us usually know the way through the lanes. We just keep our heads down and make sure the infrastructure side stays on track day after day. It is a lot of coordination and simple hard work for us. (252 words)
