Our travel shop is located at B-79, Line-10, in the Sashi Garden area of Mayur Vihar Phase 1. It’s a nice little spot in East Delhi, though finding parking on our street can be a real nightmare most days. We’ve been helping people with their trips for a long time now. Whether it’s a train ticket to see family or a flight somewhere further away, we handle it right from this desk. The office is small and filled with old calendars and stacks of papers that we need to sort through. It’s not one of those shiny agencies you see in the big malls. People from the neighborhood just walk in and sit down to talk about where they want to go. We know most of our regulars by their first names and what they like. Delhi is a busy place, and everyone seems to be in a rush, but we try to take our time to get the details right. We don't use any fancy booking software that the big guys use; we just stick to what we know works for us. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a bit to confirm a seat, but that’s just life in Mayur Vihar. We enjoy hearing stories from people when they come back from their vacations. It makes the long hours in this little room feel like we are doing something useful for the community. We are just here every day.
