Our office is in Bhajanpura, over at Chand Bagh D-1. It’s not a very big place, just a couple of rooms with desks and computers. We do a lot of data work and helping people with their online forms or searching for information they can't find. It’s mostly quiet except for the sound of typing. We have some old chairs for people to sit while they wait. The walls are painted a light blue but it's peeling in the corners. We've been here for a few years now. Chand Bagh is a crowded area, so there is always noise coming from the street. We usually have the curtains drawn so the sun doesn't glare on the monitors. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just have to wait it out. There are four of us working here most days. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. It’s not fancy, just a practical space for working. People come in with papers they need scanned or typed up. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small board near the entrance. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for D-1. We spend most of our time looking at screens and trying to figure out technical problems for people who aren't used to computers. It’s steady work and keeps us busy from morning till evening.
