Scot Innovation is based at H.No-3752, which is tucked behind the Metro Building in Mori Gate. This part of Delhi is very old and always buzzing with people and vehicles. Our office fits right into the neighborhood. It’s not a shiny new tech space. It’s more of a functional room in an older building with narrow hallways and a lot of character. We do our work here among stacks of papers and some equipment. The location is actually pretty convenient since the metro is right there, but the street itself is quite narrow. Sometimes it’s hard for delivery bikes to get through. We have a few desks squeezed in and the lighting is a bit dim, but it works for what we do. We’ve been here for a while and we know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a very different vibe from the big corporate offices in Gurgaon. Here, things are a bit more lived-in. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working on something. We handle our daily tasks without much fuss. The building itself is old, so there’s always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a flickering light. We share the space with a lot of boxes and old equipment that we might need one day. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is.
