Our office is on the second floor of 1514/12 in Wazir Nagar Kotla, Mubarakpur. It’s quite a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s where all the planning for Scenic Journeys Pvt Ltd happens. We’ve got maps all over the walls and stacks of travel books on the shelves. It’s a bit of a crowded space, especially when all of us are in at the same time. Mubarakpur is always loud with the sounds of the market and the cars, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We spend our days looking at different routes and checking prices for people. It’s not a fancy travel agency with big posters in the window. We are just tucked away on the second floor doing our thing. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans on full blast. We mostly communicate with people through the phone or over email. It’s a lot of typing and double-checking dates. We try to keep things as simple as possible. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and we know the other people in the building. It’s a very local way to run a business. We don't have any corporate rules or big speeches. We just come in, do the work, and try to help people figure out where they want to go for their holidays.
