Sbarro

Our Sbarro spot is located at J1/13, Flat No.G-2 in the Khirki Extension of Malviya Nagar. It is a bit different because we are tucked into a ground-floor space in a residential-looking building. If you are walking around New Delhi-17, you will find us right there. It is not like a big food court outlet you see in the malls. It feels more like a local kitchen. We spend most of our time prepping dough and getting the ovens ready. The smell of the food usually fills the hallway. It is a small team here. We do not wear fancy uniforms, just our aprons and hats to keep things clean. The kitchen is where all the action happens. We have flour on our shoes and we are always checking the timers. It gets hot, especially in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We do not have a big seating area, so it is mostly about getting the orders ready for people to take home or for the delivery guys who wait outside. We talk to the neighbors and the delivery drivers while we work. It is a simple, busy life. We are not trying to win any awards; we just want the food to taste right every time someone orders. We are just a few people in a small flat in Malviya Nagar making food every day. It is nothing fancy, just hard work.
