We are located inside Tamil Nadu House on Kautilya Marg in Chanakya Puri. It’s a bit of a special spot because of all the government offices around us. Every day is pretty much the same routine. We start early, getting the ovens warmed up and the kitchen ready for the lunch rush. The smell of baking dough usually fills up the space by ten in the morning. Being in this part of New Delhi means we see a lot of people working in the embassies and nearby departments. They usually just want a quick slice of pizza before they head back to their desks. We don't have any fancy signs or big marketing stuff. It’s just a counter, some tables, and us making the food. Sometimes it gets really busy and we struggle to keep up with the orders, but we do what we can. My apron always has flour on it by midday. The traffic on the way to the Pin 110021 area can be a mess sometimes, especially when there are events at the house. We have been here for a good while now. We know the regular customers who come every week. It’s a simple job, really. We just focus on keeping the kitchen clean and the food ready for whoever walks in. It’s not a glamorous place, but it’s our workplace and we stay busy every single day that we are open for business.
