Up here in Sector-1 of Parwanoo, things are a bit different than the big city offices. Our place is at H: 80C, right in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. It’s a busy area because of all the industrial units nearby, so there is always a lot of movement. We aren't a fancy sit-down place with waiters in suits. It’s more of a hub for what we do with the restaurants. Most of our days are spent dealing with deliveries and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. The air is a bit better up here than in Delhi, which is a nice perk of being in the hills, though the roads can be a bit of a climb. We’ve got a small team and we all know each other’s names. It’s not corporate and cold. We have our lunch together and talk about how the weekend went. Sometimes the weather in Himachal can be unpredictable, especially during the rains, which slows things down a bit. We just deal with it as it comes. The office is pretty basic with just the desks and computers we need to get the job done. We don't spend money on decorations or things that don't matter. We just focus on making sure the food operations are running like they should. It’s a lot of coordination and simple hard work every single day. That is just how we do things here in this part of Solan.
