Savion Travels is located right near the Anand Vihar ISBT in Ramprastha Colony. Being so close to the bus stand means we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. The office at A-41 is usually a bit hectic in the mornings when the first wave of travelers starts moving. We handle a lot of travel bookings and help people figure out where they need to go. It’s not a large place, just a few desks and some maps on the wall. The furniture is a little old now, and the chairs squeak a bit when you sit down. My cousin helps me with the phone calls because they never seem to stop ringing. Ghaziabad can be a dusty place, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day. Most of our regular customers live right here in the colony. They drop by just to say hello or ask about train timings. We have a small kettle in the back for making coffee when the weather gets cold. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people come in at once, but we make it work. Every day is different here, depending on who walks through the door looking for a trip. It’s a decent living and it keeps us connected to the neighborhood.
