The building here at 224/460 M.K.N Road isn't anything special to look at if you're just driving past in the morning. We have been in Alandur for quite a while now, and that Chennai heat really starts to get into the office by the middle of the afternoon. Most days usually start with one of us trying to fix the old water cooler and someone else complaining about how bad the traffic was on the way in. It is a pretty busy spot, mostly because of where we are situated right near the main road. People walk in all day with different questions about Saudi Arabian Airlines, and we just do what we can with the paperwork and the computer systems. The desks are always a bit crowded with folders and those old staplers that barely work when you need them to. Sometimes the tea guy from just down the street comes by around eleven and that is usually the highlight of the morning for everyone here. We do not have any fancy lounge chairs or anything like that, just some basic plastic ones for when people have to wait their turn. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody has found the time to move all the cabinets around to get it done. It feels more like a small workshop than some big corporate office most of the time. We just keep things moving, answering the phones and making sure the names on the bookings match up. It is just a regular job in a dusty part of Chennai.
